Known for his trademark braid, Duo Maxwell is the most talkative of the most talkative of the gundam pilots causing him to sometimes be seen as the comic relief. He also appears to have a large interest in food. However despite all of this, Duo is a talented and serious pilot. He also goes by the nickname Shinigami, also known as the god of death.
